Can You Work From Home and Make Money in Networking Marketing?

Are you one of the few people (Only 3-4%)  making money online right now in Network Marketing?  If you are not, you are probably wondering if a person really can make a living working at home doing Network Marketing.
 
When I say only a few people, 3-4%, that is because most people are not willing to do what it takes to build a home based business and work from home. 96-97% of the population would rather play it safe, and keep working their job, waiting for their pension, retirement plan, or social security.
 
Out of the 3-4% that are actually willing to make a change in their life, only about 3%-4% of them actually succeed.  The rest of the people never get their business off the ground, make any money, or they just plain give up because it requires too much effort.
 
You see, building your own home business and working from home is not an easy thing to do, it requires patience, some learning, time, and money. Yep!  Money - Ever heard of any other business out there that you could start for NOTHING?
 
Why is it then, that so many people are utterly shocked when you tell them what the start up cost is to get into business?
 
Here are some requirements if you want to start your own business from home and be successful:
1. Investment: - you are going to have to spend something if you want to make some money working from home.  Now you can invest $200 into an MLM, pay $200 autoship every month for products you might never use again and earn $10 per order, or you can make a one time only investment in a product, and make $1000 commissions.

Home Based Business Investment is like anything else.  You are going to get out what you put in and that starts with the money to start it up.  It's really that simple.
 
2.Discipline: When you first get started, you are going to have to set some time aside to start working on your business.  You will also have to learn how things work, and how your business system works.  This won't be an easy task if you are still working your full time job and taking care of your family.  You must decide how important this goal is to you and schedule time to work your business.
 
3.Mistakes:  You will undoubtedly make some mistakes. The first time you call a "lead" and you follow the company "script" you'll probably miss words, or skip whole sentences, or sound like your reading something, but if you keep going, and keep at it, it will eventually sound natural and you wont have to read a thing.
 
4.Good Marketing System: Unless you already have some marketing and advertising skills, you are going to need a good marketing system that takes the guess work out of it for you.  You'll need something that won't cost you an arm and a leg to run (no money coming in yet from your business), yet is as effective if not better, than the paid stuff. (Google Adwords, etc)
 
5.Online Training: Training is going to be very important in your business.  Not too many people are successful right out of the shoot without even a little training.  Even if you've been in home based business before, you will do much better with detailed, step by step, one on one training.
 
6.Patience/Faith: Many of the advertisements you see on the internet today will promise you $1000's of dollars by next week if you join them, and they claim you don't have to do a thing to earn it. This simply is not true!  It will take some time to get your website ranked in the search engines, it will take some time for your ads to circulate all over the net, but with the proper training and effective marketing system,(#4&5) these things will happen. You MUST believe in yourself and know these things will happen.
