Generate More Leads With Social Networking Etiquette

Social Networking has become one of the best ways to generate more leads for your business on the internet today. If you decide to use Social Networking for your business advertising and marketing, be sure you are familiar with some basic etiquette.

So what exactly is proper etiquette when you participate in social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook, Zenzuu, etc? Well, for starters, you can't be there just to make a buck off of somebody. If you are not willing to develop some friendships and relationships that might not end up with a dollar in your pocket, you might consider picking another method of marketing. People will see you coming a mile away if you are only there to get their money. You must be willing to provide some value to others and also take the time to see the value others provide to you. If you aren't willing to spend some time interacting with other members then you really aren't doing the "social" part of networking.

In your network marketing journey to build a profitable homebased business, you can maximize your results by taking full advantage of what the Social Networking world has to offer, just be sure to give something back. Lead generation and getting more website traffic will become so ridiculously easy, you will wonder why you waited so long.

Now you don't have to become best friends or have these people over for dinner, but do take some time to communicate in one form or another or just provide some useful tips and info to others checking out your profile. Believe it or not, if you legitimately work to provide value to others with no strings attached, people will be attracted to you and what you have to say. If what you talk about is quality and truly helpful information to others, you'll generate new friends which could ultimately become new leads for what ever business you happen to be promoting. Just don't go into it with only one thing in mind - taking from others. You have to have an attitude of giving.

Take Twitter for example. Whenever a person decides to "follow" you on twitter you should take a moment to thank them for the follow, see what they are about, and maybe consider following them back. At least a sincere thanks for the follow is good manners. After all, any time you decide to update your twitter with what you are doing ( and maybe inclusde your website, splash page, etc.) you've got a captive audience that will receive your "tweets" (updates). The least you could do is be willing to receive their "tweets"
