Work From Home, Beach, Or Hospital.....
On my last blog post I talked about being grateful for the opportunity to work from home. I had been dealing with an injury my 81 year old mother had sustained and was very happy to know I didn't have to leave for work each day. Instead, I could take care of my mothers need and be there for her. Unfortunately, Saturday, I had to admit my mother to the hospital when her injury worsened and she developed a fever, dehydration, and a blood sugar level of 238.
Once again, I felt immense gratitude for being able to work from home - or in this case - hospital. You see, when working for yourself and working in the Network Marketing insdustry, business is, and can be, portable. I have a home based business, but it doesn't mean I have to work it only from home. Matter of fact, I 've worked it from Australia, from Rome Italy, and the beach of Oahu Hawaii.
During this hospital episode with my mother, I was asked many times if I needed to go to work, or would I be around, and I was very pleased to say " I work from home" and I'll be around every day. My mother has been a little disoriented which is to be expected so I've been able to be there for her, and also be there as her spokesperson. Let me tell you, I've been aware of the benefits of working from home and having your own home business, but never have I been so grateful as I am now because I can be there for my mother each and every minute of every day.
With all the tests they run on people these days, I have been able to do some quick checking in while my mother is out and work my business for an hour or so while I wait. Because of the Veretekk Marketing System I do a little follow up, a little maintenance on my blog and emails, and I'm all set. It doesn't get any better than this.
